A letter to myself in a parallel universe

"""
Dear myself, how do you do?

I am writing, because I cannot stand my current circumstances any longer. A company's future, depends only on it's competitive practices and not it's legal and ethical standards and practices. From what I've seen of conducts of many companies, their executives down to lower management have little respect for very basic employee rights. Such actions are spawn by a cultural tradition of irreverence to some most fundamental things that humanity has come to respect in its long torturous journey. Sadly, there is nothing that can be done about it. Those that suffer, will continue to suffer--forever; those that cause the suffering, will do so happily earning their large wages, worldly respect, and enjoying pissing and shitting on other people's heads and shoulders. Millenniums of human civilization, apex of this culmination, has come to such proudly pitiful fear driven social disorder.

Such is the world that I live in. How about your world?
I hope you had a nice day.

Always yours truly parallel.

Dear myself, how are you?

I'm sorry it took so long to write, for I've been busy with some work at work. Yes, I have similar problems. I thin it' is fairly universally accepted that a corporation, who's existential definition requires that money be it's only objective will do things that is annoying to you. Though, I am not sure that that's what you're complaining about.

If you work in the high-tech industry, as I do, you may be experiencing intrusions that are not necessarily sponsored by your employees.

Think of it in terms of money. What is the gain of your employer towards it's financial objective in your suffering?

It is obvious that they are just as helpless as you when it comes to intrusions and violations of the person and his online presences.

Perhaps you should consider consulting professionals in computer security and the same in human psychiatry. This way, you may achieve a better unity with your reality.

I do no envy your situation. My own has it's own ups and downs. But I find that if you focus on the positive, and accept that the inevitable will happen, the bad times pass more easily...

Good luck with everything.

also, parallel to you.
